Learning Environments

Fully traditional, face-to-face learning environments are becoming a thing of the past. Even before the Covid 19 Pandemic, emerging technologies have a significant impact on learning. It empowers students, gives access to additional information, impacts interaction, allows knowledge sharing, promotes collaborative learning, and more (Academic College of Education, 2022). It also incorporates social networking and peer learning, focusing on bringing learning into the technological environments where students are already comfortably engaged (Andrews et. al., 2011). Online authoring tools began incorporating interaction and even game-like components for enhanced learning. Three common learning experiences today include online learning, blended learning and flipped learning.
